We made it to California and are finally together as a family again. A little over a week ago, we drove from Utah through the night. Brad was already here so my friend generously offered to drive with me. I'm not sure she knew what she was getting into, but it actually went really well. The kids eventually fell asleep and we listened to a lot of Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol.
So far things are going really well. Brad did a good job picking out a house for us. I love the area. It's pretty easy for me to find my way around, there are lots of parks, and lots of kids (in the primary at least). I've been a little preoccupied unpacking and registering my car (it was up in May and I was a little busy...), and we've been doing a lot of visiting family... so I will post pictures soon...maybe...
